Rebecca Lang, Author of “Quick Fix Southern”

Rebecca Lang is the author of Quick-Fix Southern, Southern Entertaining for a New Generation, and Mary Mac’s Tea Room. As a Contributing Editor for Southern Living, Rebecca is featured in cooking segments on the nationally syndicated show Daytime. She is a Contributing Editor for myrecipes.com and is the author of the popular column,“Girls’ Night In,” on the site.

Rebecca will host a Cooking Demonstration at the Pier Road Stage on Saturday at 11 AM and signing copies of her cookbook,Quick-Fix Southern, from noon – 12:45 PM.

Chef Whitney Otawka, Executive Chef at Farm 255 in Athens, Georgia and former contestant on Bravo’s Top Chef.
Originally from California, Chef Whitney moved to Athens, GA in 2005 to serve as Sous Chef at the 5&10 under Chef Hugh Acheson. In 2010, Whitney became Executive Chef at the prestigious Greyfield Inn on Cumberland Island. Her career soon lead her to television. In 2011, Chef Whitney was chosen to join the elite competitors on Season 9 of Bravo’s Top Chef.  Upon wrapping up her Top Chef debut, Chef Whitney returned to Athens, Georgia where she now serves as Executive Chef of Farm 255.

Chef Whitney will host a Cooking Demonstration at the Pier Road Stage on Saturday at 4:00 PM.

Chef Michell Weaver, Executive Chef of the Charleston Grill in Charleston, South Carolina
An Alabama native, Chef Weaver was raised with a passion for cooking, learning at an early age the importance of farm-t0-table. She grew up cooking with the freshest ingredients from her mother’s extensive garden. She received her formal training from the New England Culinary Institute. Following school she began cooking in the kitchen with Chef Bob Waggoner at the Wild Boar restaurant and subsequently moved with him in 1997 when he took over at Charleston Grill. When her friend and mentor moved into another chapter of his career, Chef Weaver naturally stepped into the spotlight. Since she joined the Charleston Place in 1997 as part of their culinary team, the Charleston Grill has consistently been recognized with a AAA Four-Diamond Award and Mobil Four-Start Award.

Chef Michelle Weaver will host a Cooking Demonstration at the Pier Road Stage on Sunday at 11:30 AM.
