The Jekyll Island Shrimp & Grits Festival welcomes restaurants and caterers to participate as vendors and competitors at the festival. Check out the great restaurants below and visit them at the festival.

Jekyll Island Club Hotel – The friendly staff of the Jekyll Island Club Hotel combine talent from their four restaurants and in-house catering team to provide a delicious selection of choices at the Shrimp & Grits Festival. The Jekyll Island Club Hotel is known for their gourmet dining options and delicious breakfast buffets.

Tasteful Temptations – One of the Golden Isles premier caterers, Tasteful Temptations brings their award-winning coastal cuisine to the Shrimp & Grits Festival. Their recipes have won multiple awards at previous Shrimp & Grits Festivals and at Taste of Glynn.

 Zachry’s Seafood– Locally owned and operated, Zachry’s Seafood offers delicious coastal favorites served with Southern hospitality. Located in Brunswick, GA, Zachry’s as a local fan favorite.

Fins on the Beach – Overlooking Jekyll Island’s beautiful beach, Fins offers the only beachfront dining on Jekyll Island. Their relaxed casual atmosphere is perfect for beachgoers wanting a quick bite of delicious seafood, tasty hamburgers, and fresh salads.

 SandBar &  Grill – The SandBar & Grill, located at Jekyll Island’s Oceanside Inn & Suites, features home made soups, fresh local seafood and daily specials. The restaurant is known for its relaxed atmosphere, seven flat screen tvs, and weekend entertainment.

Halyards – Halyards Restaurant, located on Saint Simons Island, prides itself on the freshest food. Everything is cooked from scratch and the menu changes each season. Halyards was recently voted Best Seafood by Southern Distinction Magazine.

King & Prince Resort – This beachfront resort located on St. Simons Island is not only known for their luxurious accommodations but also their delicious cuisine.  They bring their catering team to the Jekyll Island for the weekend so Shrimp & Grits attendees can taste their first class service and food.

Cooking Competitors

Coastal Kitchen – Located at Morningside Marina adjacent to St. Simons Island, Coastal Kitchen serves the freshest in coastal cuisine and offers stunning views of the intercoastal waterway. Last year Coastal Kitchen took home People’s Choice in the Shrimp and Grits Cooking Competition.

Tasteful Temptations Catering – Offering premier private chef services and catering in the Golden Isles, Tasteful Temptations Catering is a top caterer based out of St. Simons Island, Georgia. Their creativity and use of fresh ingredients has allowed them to win numerous awards at the Shrimp and Grits Cooking Competitions.

Latitude 31 – For the freshest seafood and friendliest atmosphere on Jekyll Island, come to the Historic Wharf and find yourself at Latitude 31°. Menu features fresh fish, Wild Georgia Shrimp, oysters and crab in addition to chicken, beef and soup and salads. All prepared fresh by our talented chef and served by friendly wait staff.

Blackwater Grill – Serving the best in Lousianna cajun style cuisine, Blackwater Grill is a local fan favorite.
